History
Amilco LLC was registered in 2004. The company is engaged in deep processing of corn grain and produces various types of starches, sugary products, high-protein feed. The products are used in the food and textile industries, in pharmaceuticals and in oil drilling.
In 2008, the construction of the Amilko Starch and Syrup Mill began on the territory of the former Millerovsky Dairy Plant. In 2009, the company released its first products - starch syrup, the plant's capacity reached 100 thousand tons per year.
In 2014, the implementation of a program to increase the plant's capacity up to 400 thousand tons per year [1] began .
Since 2016, the Grechishkinsky elevator has been part of the company’s structure in the village of Tbilisi’s Krasnodar Territory with a capacity of 120 thousand tons of one-time grain storage [2] .
Today, the share of Amilco's starch syrup products in Russia is about 25%, the company ranks 2nd in the production of starch products in Russia [3] [4] [5] .

Criticism
In 2011, the Southern Department of Rosprirodnadzor accused the company of discharging untreated water into the Glubokaya River. However, it was found that this is due to the imperfection of the city water supply system [6] [7] . In 2013, Amilko commissioned fields for the purification of industrial wastewater from the plant, which allowed reuse of water [8] , and since 2015 completely abandoned the discharge of industrial water into the city sewage system [9] .
