Club career

The player began his football career with Coventry City , playing in the First League of England . After a successful performance for the club’s youth team, on October 5, 2013, the footballer got into the application of the main team for the game with Stevenage [3] . The debut player for Coventry City took place next season, Maddison replaced in the 2014/15 Football League Cup match against Cardiff City [4] . The player scored the first goal on October 21, 2014 in the First League match against Oldham Athletic [5] .

In February 2016, Maddison moved to Norwich City , signing a contract with the team for three and a half years [6] . Immediately after this, the player returned to Coventry City on loan.

On August 31, 2016, the footballer was given a six-month lease to the Scottish club Aberdeen [7] . In the Scottish Championship, Maddison played 14 matches and scored 2 goals. In early 2017, the footballer returned to Norwich, the first match for which he played on April 17. In the Championship match against Preston North End , Maddison replaced and scored his first goal for Norwich [8] .

At the end of June 2018, Maddison was signed by the Leicester City club, playing in the Premier League . Team Career

In March 2016, Maddison was included in the England national team until the age of 20 , but could not play due to injury. The player received his first call to the England youth team in November 2017. On November 10, he replaced the match against the national team of Ukraine as part of the qualification for the European Youth Championship 2019 [14] .
