Andres Luure ( Est. Andres Luure ; born May 22, 1959) is an Estonian philosopher, semiotic and translator.

Biography
In 1983 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University , defending a thesis on the topic "Abelian Algebras". In 1998 he defended his master's thesis "A combinatorial model of referring". In 2006 , he received a doctorate in philosophy based on his defense of the dissertation "Duality and sextets: a new structure of categories". Since 2009, she has been an assistant professor at Tallinn University . He translated the works of a number of modern philosophers into Estonian, including the works of Ludwig Wittgenstein , Jürgen Habermas and Gilbert Ryle .
Andres Luure is the administrator and one of the most active participants in the Estonian Wikipedia , where he rules under his real name Andres . Luur’s activities on Wikipedia were marked by the State Award of the , which was presented to him by Estonian President Toomas Ilves in 2008.
