The NHK Trophy 2018 Tournament is the fourth stage of the 2018-2019 Figure Skating Grand Prix . Competitions were held in the city of Japan Hiroshima from November 9 to 11, 2018 [1] . The tournament is organized by the Japan Speed Skating Federation with the support of the ISU . Athletes performed in the following categories: men's and women's singles, pair figure skating and ice dancing .

Failed Members
On the penultimate day of July, a message appeared that the Chinese greenhouses Sui Wenjing and Han Tsun would not take part in the Grand Prix [2] . They will be replaced by American greenhouses Audrey Lou and Misha Mitrofanov . In mid-August, due to the breakup of the couple, Japanese dancers Kana Muramoto and Chris Reed starred in the British dancers Laila Fire and Lewis Gibson . A few days before the start of the competition, a French pair of dancers Gabriela Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron starred due to a back injury from a partner. [3] [4] .
