The village was founded in 1848 by immigrants from the Kaluga province [2] .

Description

It is located in the south of the region on the left bank of Bolshoi Irgiz at the confluence of the Rostashi River, 13 km northeast of Bolshaya Chernihivka and 130 km southeast of Samara .

On the right bank of the Bol. Irgiz opposite the village is the village of Imeleevka . In the village there is a bridge over Bolshaya Irgiz, the Bol highway passes through it. Chernihivka - Krasnooktyabrsky . Railroad runs along the southern outskirts of the village Pugachev - Krasnogvardeets line (the nearest stopping point is 2 km east of the village).
