Gary Paul Davis an American businessman, actor, musician, and descendant of the Cherokee people, who is also the executive director of the Native American Finance Committee [1] , the director general of the Davis Strategy Development Division, and a member of the Forbes Financial Council. As an actor, he is best known for his roles as Indians, including his Little Bear in the movie Native American in the Closet and Night Wolf in Mortal Kombat 2: Extermination .

Biography
Personal life
Lightfoot was born in , California , and raised in Tulsa , Oklahoma . He currently resides in Seattle , Washington , where he moved in 1997. It is a descendant of the Cherokee and Chichimec , the northern people of Mexico . Married to Carmen Davis, Acting Chairman of Reach The Rez, a community of resident populations of the Maca tribe, Yakama, and . They have three sons: Kuanna, Sequoia and Kyuvnuseyia ( Eng. Quannah, Sequoyah & Qwnuseia ) [2] .
Entertainment Business
Prior to being appointed Executive Director of the Finance Committee of Native Americans, Davis served as President and CEO of the National Center for Entrepreneurship Development of the American Indians, and was on the board of directors. He was involved in indigenous affairs and was vice president of the development company , the owner of the largest shopping centers in the world, including and West Edmonton Mall . He previously co-chaired the National Indian Gambling Association and the American Indian Business Network [3] .
Davis owns the Davis Strategy Development Department, which provides optimal cross-sectoral collaboration in the Indian country related to energy, sales, casinos, hospitality, land development, healthcare and pharmaceuticals. He also owns the Native Style Clothing brand and Red Vinyl Records. [4]
Davis is also involved in music, with eight of his albums being awarded, starring in feature films and television series such as "The Native American in the Cabinet" and " House of Cards " [5] . Although Lightfoot is not the first Native American to perform hip-hop ( , who also comes from Cherokee, may be called the first), he is nevertheless one of the first Native American hip-hop artists to represent show business officially recognized by the tribe at the federal level (another example is Tomahawk Funk of the ). He is a six-time winner of the , and received his recent award in the Artist of the Year Award [6] .
Since 2005, broadcasting via the Native Voice One (NV1) satellite network, its author’s program “Reach the Rez Radio”, dedicated to national hip-hop and R&B , has been broadcast on air. In addition, Lightfoot produces several lines of fashionable clothes, the most famous of which is its Native Style brand. Over the years, he spends several months almost every year on reservations in the United States and Canada. One of his recent music and information projects was the Reach the Rez Tour, which lasted all year, covering 54,000 miles and 211 performances throughout the United States.
Public Recognition
Davis traveled all over the United States as a representative of the Reach The Rez Project, delivering a message of hope regarding empowerment for more than 450 Native American communities. He managed to raise almost 1.5 million dollars to achieve the desired result [2] . He regularly gives motivational speeches to tribal, student, and labor groups as a public lecturer, presents keynote speeches, business trainings for communities and corporations, and lectures at various colleges and universities throughout North America [7] .
Davis is a laureate of the prestigious Sevenstar Award from the historical Cherokee Indian society, awarded to him for his contribution to the chosen field, which brought honor to the Cherokee people and served as a source of inspiration for others [8] . He was also rewarded for his outstanding achievements in the post of national director of the Agency for the Development of Entrepreneurship among Minorities under the Ministry of Trade [9] . After that, he was appointed Ambassador of the Department of Energy, representing the minority initiative in the field of energy development, and was accepted into the US Small Business Management Council , supporting low-income groups [10] . The Indian Country Today Media Network in 2015 considered Mr. Davis to be one of the 50 faces of the country of the Indians [11] .
