Located on the left bank of the Velikaya River in a wooded area 16 km north-west of Yurie and 70 km from Kirov .
There is an access road from the Kirov - Syktyvkar highway passing 5 km to the west. At the eastern outskirts of the village is located well. station Mosinskiy on the line Kirov - Kotlas .
Transportation
The settlement is connected with the district center by the transit bus route No. 144 Yurya - Verkhodvore . At Mosinsky station, commuter trains stop in the direction of Kirov and Murashi .

History
The village has spent the childhood of a writer and journalist, honored cultural worker of the Kirov region, a member of the Writers' Union of Russia , the Union of Journalists of Russia Viktor Bakin .
