Geography
The village is located on the banks of the river Vakhchilka 15 km to the south-west from the center of the settlement of the village of Kiprevo and 4 km to the east from the district center of the city of Kirzhach .
History
The village was first mentioned in the hundredth inscription of 1562, it contained 5 peasant households [2] .
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the village was part of the Lukyantsevsky parish of the Pokrovsky district , since 1926 it has been part of the Kirzhach volost of the Aleksandrovsky district . In 1859 [3] there were 23 courtyards in the village, in 1905 [4] - 52 courtyards (1 mill ) [5] , in 1926 [6] - 57 courtyards.
Since 1929, the village has been part of the Korytovsky Village Council of the Kirzhachsky District , since 1959 - as part of the Lukiantsevsky Village Council , since 1971 - as part of the Kiprevsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Kiprevsky Rural Settlement .
