Deni Alar ( German: Deni Alar ; born January 18, 1990 in Slavonski Brod , SFRY ) is an Austrian footballer of Croatian origin, a striker for the Rapid club and the Austrian national team .

Alar in the Rapida

Alar began his professional career at Leoben Club. In 2006, he made his debut for the main squad in the First League of Austria . In 2009, Denis moved to Kapfenberg . On May 2, in his match against Reed , he made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga. [2] On May 15, in a duel against Strum, Alar scored his first goal for Kapfenberg [3] .

In the summer of 2011, Alar moved to the capital's Rapid . On July 16, in his match against Admira Wacker Mödling , he made his debut for a new team [4] . On September 24, in a duel against Wacker , Denis scored his first goal for Rapid [5] .

In the summer of 2016, Alar signed a contract with Sturm . July 23, in a match against the Red Bull Salzburg , he made his debut for a new team [6] . In the same match, Denis scored his first goal for Sturm. For two consecutive seasons, Alar became the second scorer of the championship. In 2018, he helped the team win the Austrian Cup and take second place in the national championship. In the same year, Adar returned to the Rapid.

International Career

On November 14, 2017, in a friendly match against the national team of Uruguay, Alar made his debut in the Austrian national team , replacing Marko Arnautovic in the second half [7] .
