The 57th Sweden Women's Curling Championship 2018 was held from March 22 to 26, 2018 in Skelleftea . ^[1] ^[2] ^[3]

4 teams took part in the championship.

The champion became the team Sundbybergs CK Team Panthera ( Sundbyberg ) ( skip Isabella Vrano ); the curling club team Sundbybergs CK won the championship for the 3rd time in its history, Isabella Vrano - for the 1st time both as a skip and as a player. Silver medals were won by the IK Fyris Team Donald Davies ( Uppsala ; Anette Norberg ). The Östersunds CK Team Woolpower ( Ostersund ; skip Tova Sundberg) became bronze medalists.

At the same time, the 2018 Swedish Curling Championship for Men was held in the same place.

Content

Tournament Format

First, all teams participate in the group stage, held on a round-robin system , in which each team will play once with each. The three best teams go to the playoffs , where the rally is held according to the "incomplete" Olympic system : first in the semi-finals there are teams that take 2nd and 3rd places in the group stage, then in the finals the winner of the semifinals meets with the team in the group stage 1st place.
