Biography
The son of a hereditary nobleman. A native of the Penza province.
He graduated from the 2nd Moscow Cadet Corps (1909) and the Konstantinovsky Artillery School (1912), from where he was released as second lieutenant to the 47th Artillery Brigade , with which he entered the First World War . He was promoted to lieutenant on August 31, 1914 " for his long service ", to staff captains on February 18, 1916 . For military distinctions, he was awarded all orders up to the Order of St. Vladimir , 4th degree inclusive. On January 21, 1917 he was transferred to the 18th light mortar artillery division, and on May 18 of the same year he was promoted to captain .
With the outbreak of the Civil War, he came to the Don to the Volunteer Army , participated in the 1st Kuban campaign in the 3rd separate battery. In the Armed Forces of the South of Russia and the Russian Army - in heavy artillery before the evacuation of Crimea . He was awarded the Order of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker . On December 18, 1920 - Colonel of the 5th Artillery Battalion in Gallipoli .
In exile in France. He died in 1963 in Paris. He was buried in the cemetery of Saint-Genevieve-des-Bois .
