Biography

In 1955 he graduated from the Kzyl-Orda Pedagogical Institute. N.V. Gogol, after which he worked as a teacher of secondary school No. 10 [1] in Dzhezkazgan . Since 1956, he joined the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan , was the head of the poetry department of the Zhuldyz magazine and the Kazak adebieti literary newspaper, and then the head of the poetry department of the Zhazushi publishing house. He was the editor-in-chief of the literary magazine "Ak Orda" [1] . Since 1984 - on creative work [2] .

The author of the texts of many songs, libretto, operas "Enlik - Kebek", "Makhambet". Some works have been translated into foreign languages. He translated the works of A. Pushkin , M. Lermontov , R. Gamzatov , D. Kugultinov and others into the Kazakh language [2] .

  • Books have been translated into more than a dozen languages [1] .
  • Awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Supreme Soviet of the SSR and other government awards [1] .
  • By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 257 dated February 16, 2000, the Aktobe Regional Youth Library was named after Saga Jienbaev [1] .
  • In the city of Aktobe, one of the streets is named after Saga Zhienbaev [1] .
