Booth kisses

The story begins with a story about two friends - El ( Joey King ) and Lee ( Joel Courtney ). They were born on the same day — June 7th, and at the same time — 147, in Los Angeles, California . Their mothers were best friends, and so the girl El and the boy Lee grew up like a brother and sister. El died mom, and she tries to survive. In addition, she started liking Lee's older brother, Noah Flynn ( Jacob Elordi ).

The action is transferred to our day. Last day of summer, El and Lee need to come up with an idea for fundraising at school. The girl again remembers Noah, a grown-up and cute brother Lee, but realizes that she does not shine, because according to one of the rules of friendship, relatives of a friend are untouchable. This is the first day of school, but El is obviously not going according to plan: pants, spare in dry cleaning, are torn, and therefore she has to wear a 9th grade skirt, which is small for her. Because of this, El's classmate begins to bully her, but Noah protects her. After that, a classmate apologizes to El, passing her notes on the lessons, and begs for his phone number. Noah notices this. This guy even calls a girl out on a date, but he is very late, explaining that Noah has forbidden everyone to invite El. Lee supports her. The girl is very angry and she calls Noah and asks him to stop following her personal life, but Noah responds only with mockery.

The next day, Lee and El put forward the idea of ​​creating a “Kissbox”, the idea of ​​which is “a blind kiss”. Everyone supports this idea, hoping for the participation of Noah Flynn, that very local “Casanova” and handsome one. At a party in the evening, El gets drunk and wants to undress, but this is what the Noah who takes her out of the party does not allow her to do. The girl wakes up in the room of a guy with a terrible hangover and sighs of relief when she learns that there was nothing between them. It also happens a random skirmish, where Noah and El fall on each other, clinging to the curtain. In the evening in the "Kissbox" opens. Noah refuses to participate in this. Lee after a kiss meets a pretty girl. In retaliation for the lies and the absence of Noah Flynn, three girlfriends push El on the stage as a participant. And by luck, Noah Flynn should kiss her! The couple kisses, but after Noah says that this is just a kiss, breaking off all hopes of El. Upset girl leaves the party. It's starting to rain. Noah offers to give her a lift. It becomes too dangerous to go and they stop at a small arbor. After a short pause, Noah says that he is crazy about El, that is, he actually confesses her love. The couple kisses again, but they are interrupted by a local gardener, and it becomes clear that Noah specifically brought El here. El is angry.

After, at the next party, Noah's party does not take his eyes off El, although he is surrounded by a large number of girls. Later in the evening, one of the guys begins to show sympathy to El and tries to drag her into the jacuzzi, but Noah came to his rescue in time, but because of the stinging remarks of this guy, Flynn breaks down and beats the opponent.

El and Noah go together to a lonely place and have sex there. After they begin to develop a romantic relationship, but the guys have to hide them because of the same ill-fated rule. Lee has a girlfriend, the one with whom he was lucky to kiss in the "Kissbox".

Alas, El and Noah cannot hide their relationship forever, and in the end, Lee Flynn finds out about this and is very offended by El because of a broken rule. But he also resents his brother, because he believes that Noah treats El as the next available girl. El and Noah are separated from each other. Lee eventually forgives El. At the next party, Noah publicly confesses the girl to love, but she runs away. That evening, Noah apologizes to his brother and assures that everything that was said to the girl today was sincere. Noah is preparing to leave in connection with entering Harvard . At graduation, El realizes that Noa loves and wants to be with him, and Lee talks about it, explaining that even if Lee is her best friend, it does not mean that he has the right to decide who to love and with whom to be . And he says that if he is unable to accept this, then it is better for them to break off all relationships. Lee understands El and drives her to Noah, but drives into her house. El in the car says he regrets his act after recognizing Noah and tells him everything he thinks. Suddenly it turns out that Noah was driving with her. For El, this is a pleasant surprise. The couple confesses to each other in love. Noah leaves for Harvard, and the couple says goodbye. But their relationship does not end there, and the guys still love each other.
