David Vladimirovich Vachnadze ( Georgian დავით ვლადიმერის ძე ვაჩნაძე ; August 4, 1884, Tiflis - January 23, 1962, Munich) - Georgian politician, one of the founders of the National Democratic Party of Georgia .

Biography
Born in the family of Russian Army Colonel Vladimir Vachnadze and Helen Machabeli.
He studied at the Tbilisi Cadet Corps (1894-1902), then at the St. Petersburg Military School.
Since 1907, in military service, second lieutenant. Participated in public and journalistic activities. In 1912, together with Revaz Gabashvili, was the founder of the weekly magazine "Klde".
During the First World War, he was an assistant to Colonel George Jandye, head of the “Georgian Georgian squad”. In 1915, he contacted the “Independent Committee of Georgia”, founded by Peter Surguladze in Geneva in 1914. He helped George Machabeli . In 1917 he became one of the founders of the National Democratic Party and a member of its Central Committee, was a member of the National Council of Georgia and the Constituent Assembly of Georgia . In June 1918 he was appointed to the Georgian diplomatic delegation for negotiations with the German military mission. Together with the headquarters of Georgia and Germany, he actively participated in the organization of the Georgian army.
After the defeat of Germany in World War I in November 1918, along with Major George Abkhazi, he evacuated the German mission from Georgia through Batumi. In December 1918 he participated in the Georgian-Armenian war .
In February 1921, he tried to organize resistance to the Sovietization of Georgia . After the suppression of the rebellion of 1924, he participated in the underground resistance movement.
In 1922 he was arrested. In February 1924, he secretly went to Turkey to organize assistance from abroad. In 1924-1926 he participated in the activities of the "Committee for the Liberation of the Caucasus" in Istanbul.
Since 1927 he lived in France, Italy and Germany. Actively collaborates with the immigrant press.
The author of 4 books and up to 30 articles, as well as memoirs. He participated in the cultural life of the Paris community, gave lectures [1] , was a member of several Georgian immigrant organizations.
During the Second World War , in 1942, he was attracted by the German Foreign Ministry ( Schulenburg ) as a member of the alleged puppet government in the Caucasus to a meeting in Berlin (The invitees lived in the Adlon hotel, which is why the rally was called the Adloniada) [2] , but after the Schulenburg plan was not implemented, he moved to Vienna. After the war, he moved to West Germany.
Wife and daughters were deported to Kazakhstan.
