Byszka ( Polish: Biszcza ) is a village in Bilgoraj county, Lublin Voivodeship of Poland . The administrative center of the municipality of Bische . According to the 2011 census, 1876 people lived in the village [1] .

Geography
The village is located in southeastern Poland, within the Sandomierz Lowland , south of the Tanev River, about 16 kilometers south of the town of Bilgoraj , the administrative center of the county. The absolute height is 201 meters above sea level [2] . To the south of the village passes the regional highway 863 , to the east - the regional highway 835 .
History
The ravine arose at the turn of the XV and XVI centuries on the lands of the Kszczewski headman of the Przemysl region of the Russian Voivodeship [3] . According to the Military Statistical Review of the Russian Empire, in 1847, 1918 people lived in the village of Bishcha. Administratively, the village was part of the Zamostsky district of the Lublin province of the Kingdom of Poland [4] . As of 1890, the village of Bishche was the center of the commune of the same name as part of the Belgoraj district [5] .
In the period from 1975 to 1998, the village was part of the Zamoysky Voivodeship .
