General Information

Renso is one of the four children of Antonio and Mirian Olivo, there are two brothers, Alvaro and Giani, and a sister, Rosina. Father Renso owns a tennis club

He began to play tennis at the age of four with his father. Favorite surface - soil, favorite tournament - US Open . The idol in the world of tennis in childhood was the famous compatriot David Nalbandyan .

He speaks Spanish, English and French. Newell's Old Boys football fan from his hometown.

Sports career

Olivo won his first titles at futures tournaments in 2010. The debut tournament of the “Challenger” series he took in September 2011 in doubles in Como . Debut in the ATP World Tour also occurred in doubles - in February 2013, Rensault played in the main doubles of the tournament in Buenos Aires . In July 2014, Olivo, through qualification, made his way to the first ATP tournament in singles, which was held in Bostad . He was able to attract attention by going to the quarter finals and beating Tommy Robredo in the second round of No. 18 in the world at that time.

In January 2016, Olivo first appeared in the Grand Slam series tournament , passing through qualifications for the Australian Open . In February, he played in the quarterfinal at the tournament in Quito , and also played the first matches for the national team of Argentina in the Davis Cup . In July, Renzo was able to reach the semifinal of the tournament in Hamburg . In September, in the Brazilian Santos, he won his first single challenger. In October, he took another "Challenger" in Buenos Aires and for the first time in his career he rose to the first hundred of the world single player ranking.

In February 2017, Olivo again reached the quarter finals of the tournament in Quito. In May, at the French Open, he was able to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga from the No. 11 tournament in the world, beating him in the first round. In early August, Renzo reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Kitzbuhel .
