Khorezmi International Award ( Pers. جشنواره خوارزمی ) is the name of one of the Iranian science festivals held by the Organization of Scientific and Industrial Research of Iran and named after the famous Iranian scientist Muhammad ibn Musa Khorezmi. Since 1987, the festival began its work in international status.

The competition accepts innovations and inventions in the following scientific areas: electrical engineering, computer technology, biotechnology, the environment and fundamental medical sciences, the chemical industry, manufacturing and technology management, basic sciences, medical sciences, landscaping, software and information technology engineering, nanotechnology, agriculture and natural resources, mechanics, materials science and metallurgy, new types of energy, art and architecture, aerospace industry and mechatronics.

Project Selection and Evaluation Process
The Secretariat of the Khorezmi International Prize, in accordance with the schedule, informs universities, as well as scientific and industrial centers, of the reception of national and international projects through the website, official correspondence and the media.
All stages of the procedure, from registration to the evaluation of the jury's project, are carried out electronically in the automatic system of festival projects.
The jury during numerous meetings from projects selected by specialized groups, selects the winners and distributes them in places. The laureates are honored at a ceremony attended by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, other dignitaries, scientists and representatives of the country's executive authorities [2].
