Novosibirsk State Theater Institute

Novosibirsk State Theater and Theater Institute (NGTI) is a Russian state autonomous educational institution of higher education in the Novosibirsk region located in the city of Novosibirsk . Founded in 1960 as the Novosibirsk State Theater School [1] . History

In 1960, the Novosibirsk State Drama School was established in Novosibirsk [1] .

Famous masters of the scene stood at the origins of the school: folk artists of the RSFSR Nikolai Fedorovich Mikhailov , Elena Gerasimovna Agaronova and chief director of the drama theater " Red Torch " Vera Redlich [1] .

The basis of the school was the department of actors of the dramatic theater, and later they began to train actors of musical theater, pop artists, as well as actors-puppeteers [1] .
