The second wife (from 15.07.1832; Kostroma) is Anastasia Sergeyevna Lanskaya (1813-1891), daughter of the Minister of the Interior S. S. Lansky from his marriage with Princess V. I. Odoevskaya . According to contemporaries, she had a rather harsh voice and beautiful French, which she was taught by the French tutor Etienne. She was brought up by her mother’s friend Marya Apollonova and was very popular in Moscow. Her mind, an energetic, bold character with a responsive heart, was attractive and inspired general respect ^[1] .
