Dubrovka [1] or Kovpyta [2] ( Ukrainian: Dubrovka ) is the left tributary of the Old Dnieper channel of the Dnieper River, flowing through the Chernihiv region ( Chernihiv region , Ukraine ).

Geography
Length - 25 [2] km. The catchment area is n / a km². The riverbed in the middle reaches (the village of Kovpyt) is located at an altitude of 123.4 m above sea level.
It originates in the village of Linea ( Chernihiv district ). The river flows to the south-west, then - north-west, in the estuary part makes a turn again and flows to the south. It flows into the Starik Lake, which communicates with the Old Dnieper channel of the Dnieper River, west of the village of Starik ( Chernihiv district ).
The channel, in addition to the estuarine section, is straightened into the canal (canalized), 8–9 m wide and 1.4–1.7 m wide (reaches an average of 12 m wide and 1.8 m deep). The floodplain of the river is transformed by the created network of canals with the main canal, which serves as the river bed. There are no ponds on the river.
The floodplain is occupied by foci of forests and forest belts, in the mouth part - wetlands with meadows.
