Biography
Francesco Nuti was born on May 17, 1955 in the Tuscan town of Prato . He began his artistic career in the late 1970s when he created the cabaret group "Giancattivi" ( Italian: I Giancattivi ) together with Alessandro Benvenuti and Atina Cenci. The group took part in the TV show “Black Out” and “Non Stop” for the RAI TV channel and filmed its first film “West from Donald Duck” in 1982 under the direction of Benvenuti. The following year, Nuti abandoned the trio, starting a solo acting career, starring in three films directed by Maurizio Ponzi : " Madonna, what a silence tonight " (1982), " I, Chiara and Gloomy " (1983) and " I am satisfied " ).
Many of the films that Nuti shot as a director (since 1985) and in which he played leading roles had a great audience and box office success. He received a number of prestigious cinema awards and awards, and in 1988 he even participated as a singer in the famous Italian Song Festival in San Remo . However, since the mid-1990s, Nuti began to pursue failures and he fell into a long depression.
On September 2, 2006, Francesco Nunti fell down the stairs in his house under incompletely clarified circumstances, suffered serious injuries and fell into a coma. After three months in the hospital, Nuti regained consciousness, but he lost his speech and remained confined to a wheelchair [1] .
