Geographical position
The lake is located 8.5 kilometers east-northeast of the village of Massava , 11 kilometers from the mouth of the Yanyya River ( Pelym River Basin). The lake has an area of 1.8 km² and a water level of 68.5 meters [1] .
Toponym
Yanytur from the Mansi language means a large lake [1] .
Description
The lake has a surface runoff, the Yanyya River. In some places, the shores are swampy and covered with forest. There are pike , crucian carp , perch , burbot and chebak in the lake [1] .
