Biography
Born in 1930 in Baku , born in the village of Karabudakhkent in Dagestan .
In 1954-1955 he worked as a technician, head of the section in the oil fields of the Artemneft trust.
In 1955, he graduated with honors from the gas and oil field faculty of the Azerbaijan Industrial Institute (ASII) with a degree in Oil Field Development and Operation.
In 1957-1970 he worked as the head of the research center, the head of the department of problem research works, the vice-rector for the scientific part of the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry (AzINEFTEHIM).
In 1961, he defended his thesis on the topic: "The study of the influence of some factors on the process of well cementing", and in 1975 - his doctoral thesis on the topic: "Some hydraulic problems of well cementing."
In 1970-1979 - Rector of Sumgait High School , head of the department "Mechanics".
In 1979-1988 - Head of the Center for Information and Mathematical Equipment of the Research and Design Institute "Neftekhimavtomat", Head of the Laboratory. While working at the institute, for the first time in Azerbaijan, he created a department of the “ACS of drilling”. From 1981 to 1985 By the resolution of the Council of Ministers and the State Committee for Science and Technology of the USSR, he worked as the scientific leader of the committee for the creation of the first sample of the automated process control system and the automatic control system for production on the basis of the TATNEFT production association. The created system was replicated in all oil facilities of the USSR. Five All-Union scientific research institutes of instrument-making and branch ministries worked on the problems of the automated process control system and the automatic control system for production.
In 1988-2000 Professor of the Department “Drilling of Oil and Gas Wells”, Head of the Department “Economics and Organization of Production Management”, Dean of the Faculty “Organizers of Industry”, “International Economic Relations”, General Director of the Business Center of the Ministry of Education of the USSR, the Azerbaijan Republic and IBM (USA), Professor of Economics and Management in the fields of oil refining and petrochemistry of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (AGNA). The restructuring of the economy of the republic into market relations has set for higher educational institutions the problem of training personnel for new conditions for running the national economy. M.N. Makhmudov organized and headed the center for training, retraining and advanced training of workers of the national economy in the field of foreign economic activity. He created the faculty "International economic relations and management", as well as the problem laboratory for foreign economic relations in the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy .
In 2002—2003 - Rector of the Rostov State Economic University branch in Makhachkala, the Republic of Dagestan . Organized and launched by Makhmudov M.N. from "zero" the university now produces specialists in the field of economics, management and law.
From 2003—2013 - Scientific Director of the Problem Laboratory of Foreign Economic Relations of the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Chief Researcher of GosNIPI "Gipromorneftegaz".
Murad Nabievich Makhmudov - a prominent scientist in the field of drilling oil and gas wells. The field of scientific research includes issues of well fixing and cementing, hydromechanics in drilling, international economic relations and management, automation of control systems, mathematical and information support. He published over 400 scientific articles, 12 monographs, a number of methodological manuals and manuals, which brought him recognition as a specialist in the field of mechanics of continuous rocks. He has copyright certificates on inventions. Prepared 12 candidates of science.
Merits Makhmudova M.N. and his recognition as a leading specialist was reflected in the fact that he was chairman of the board for awarding degrees in petrochemical and oilfield specialties, deputy chairman of the scientific and technical council of the oil and gas industry NTS MV and SOO USSR, a member of the scientific and technical section on State Committee for Science of Oil and Gas at the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
In the International Ecoenergy Academy Makhmudov M.N. He was in charge of issues related to the problems of geophysics, engineering geology, drilling, production, processing of oil and gas, petrochemistry, petroleum engineering, and also led the development of mechanisms for the transition of the Republic of Azerbaijan to market forms of management and improving the efficiency of foreign economic activity of enterprises and departments.
