Born in Barnaul.

After graduating from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute from 1961 to 2000, he worked at the Radio Engineering Institute : engineer, from 1963 a research fellow, from 1971 a senior fellow, from 1974 the head of the sector, and from 1984 the head of the department.

The author of 12 inventions.

Candidate of Technical Sciences (1971), Senior Researcher (1973).

He participated in the creation of the Dniester M , Dnepr, Daugava, Daryal , Daryal-U, and Don 2N radars.

Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1984). Honored Machine Builder of the Russian Federation (1997). He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor (1976).
