Geography
The village is located 16 km east of the center of the village of Kiprevo and 22 km northeast of the district center of Kirzhach .
History
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Zherdevsky volost of the Pokrovsky district , since 1926 - as part of the Kirzhach volost of the Alexander district . In 1859 [2] there were 46 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 74 yards, in 1926 [4] - 70 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Savelievsky village council of the Kirzhach region , since 1940 - as part of the Afanosovsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Kiprevsky rural settlement .
Since 1890, a village was located in the village for unwinding the silk of the peasant Egor Andreevich Mikalyov. According to the data for 1900, 8 workers worked in the institution [5] .
