Biography
Born on July 5, 1927 in the village of Zakatala district, Azerbaijan SSR (now a village in the Kakh district).
Since 1945 - collective farm collective farm "Galaba" Kakhsky district.
Khuru Tagiyeva showed herself at work as an experienced tobacco grower, demanding of herself and skilled workers. Tagiyeva became interested in tobacco growing, masterfully mastered the practice of planting, growing, assembling and drying tobacco, learned all the secrets of this craft, successfully applied her knowledge at work, and shared her experience with young tobacco growers. According to the results of the ninth five-year plan for 5 years, Khuru Tagiyeva received 21 tons of dry tobacco leaf, having fulfilled two five-year plans. The tobacco grower achieved even higher results in the years of the Tenth Five-Year Plan. For the first two years of the tenth five-year plan, Tagiyev received 9 tons of tobacco, instead of the planned 4.5 tons, following the four-year plan of the five-year plan. In 1977, Tagiyeva, actively participating in socialist competition, received 4 tons of 600 kilograms of tobacco from a tobacco plantation of 0.65 hectares; out of 4.6 tons of tobacco, 3.7 tons are marked as high-quality at the point of reception of tobacco. In 1978, Tagiyev initiated the competition in the republic for obtaining 5,000 kilograms of tobacco.
Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 23, 1978 for outstanding achievements in the All-Union socialist competition, displayed labor prowess in fulfilling plans and socialist obligations of production and sale of agricultural products to the state in 1977 Tagiyeva Huru Samad Kyzy awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award Lenin and the gold medal " Hammer and Sickle ".
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1945 .
The street is named after Tagiyev in the city of Kakh.
