Born in Magnitogorsk in 1963 .

In 1985 he graduated from the Magnitogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Institute. G.I. Nosov , specialty "Metal forming", qualification engineer-metallurgist.

Since 1985, he worked as a rolling mill for a hot rolling mill, a senior foreman, deputy head of a section rolling shop, head of a section rolling shop, technical director, chief engineer, and production director of the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant .

In 2003-2005, he underwent professional retraining at the State Educational Institution "Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation" under the program "MBA: Management. Since 2011 - Production Director - Chief Engineer of Severstal Russian Steel Division.

Since June 2014 - First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast .

In the elections of September 18, 2016 he was elected as a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region in the regional constituency from the Vologda regional branch of the All-Russian political party " United Russia ". Elected chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region.

On December 28, 2016, at the reporting and election conference of the Vologda Regional Branch of the United Russia Party, he was elected Secretary of the Vologda Regional Branch of the Party.

Married, has two children.
