Biography

Born in 1929 in the family of a railway worker. Member of the CPSU.

Since 1950 - on economic, social and political work. In 1950 - 2000 - Technician-mechanic for locomotive engineering, assistant master, master, head of span in locomotive and steam-engine-mechanical shops, senior master, deputy head of the diesel-mechanical shop, head of frame-body shop, party secretary, director of the plant, general director of the production association "Kolomna diesel-locomotive plant. VV Kuybysheva ", Director General of the Kolomnateplovozput Scientific and Production Association, Director of VNITI.

For the creation and introduction into the national economy of a power series of unified efficient diesel engines of the D-49 type as part of a collective, he was awarded the USSR State Prize in the field of science and technology in 1989.

He was elected a deputy to the 9th and 10th convocations of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR.

He died in 2000.
