Club career
He started playing football at the Academy of the capital “ Anderlecht ”. Then he received an invitation from another Belgian grand - Brugge . At 15, he was considered one of the best young players in Europe. Manchester United and Real Madrid were interested in him. But in the summer of 2013, Ngoi moved to another English club - Stoke City [2] .
At 19, he was nominated by the Professional Development League of England for the title of best player of the season [2] .
On December 10, 2016 he made his debut for Stoke in the English Premier League in the match of the 15th round with the London Arsenal , having gone on the field in the 86th minute instead of Jerdan Shakiri [3] .
In the summer of 2017, the Monaco head coach Leonardo Jardim considered the candidacy of Julien Ngoy to replace Kilian Mbappe leaving the team [4] .
At the end of January 2018, on loan until the end of the season he joined the team of the First English League Walsall [5] . He debuted for the new club on February 3 in his home game with MK Dons . Ngoi replaced on the 66th minute instead of Erhun Oztumera , and after 4 minutes he scored the only goal in the game, bringing his team a victory [6] . In total, Walsall spent 13 matches, scored 3 goals and was marked by one assists.
On August 29, 2018, the Swiss Grasshopper joined the club. The lease agreement is calculated until the end of the 2018/19 season and contains the possibility of redemption at the end of [7] . He played his first game in the Super League on September 2 away from Lucerne . Ngoi came on as a substitute in the 79th minute with a score of 1-0 in favor of his team instead of the goal scorer Rafael Holzhauser . International Career
He played for various youth teams of Belgium.
On March 27, 2017 he made his debut for the youth team in the qualifying tournament game for the European Youth Championship with peers from Malta [10] .
The first goal for the national team scored in March 2018 in a friendly match with the Netherlands team . The Belgians won with a score of 4: 1, and one of the balls chalked up Ngoi [11] .
