The main settlements of the volost [1]
- Dernovoe is a former state village by the Dernovaya River, 40 versts from the county town of Akhtyrka. In the village there is a volost government, 174 yards, 1114 inhabitants, an Orthodox church, a post station.
- Nitsaha is a former state village by the Vorsklice river. The village has 167 yards, 1133 inhabitants, an Orthodox church.
- Pechiny is a former state village, 217 households, 1345 inhabitants, an Orthodox church.
- Požnia is a former state village by the Vorsklice river. The village has 172 yards, 1302 residents, an Orthodox church, a shop, 3 fairs, a brewery.
