Club career
He began his professional career in 2005 in the reserve team of Porto . The following year he was leased to Maya , where he played 14 matches. From 2006 to 2010 he was a player of the main team of “dragons”, but was leased three times: Liege Standard (2006/07), Portimonency (2007/08) and Amadres Estrela (2008/09). Over the last August 24, 2008 he made his debut in the Premier League in the match against the “Academician” from Coimbra (1: 0). In July 2009, after the completion of the career of veteran Pedro Emanuel , he returned to Porto, where he took part only in the last round match against Unian Leiria .
On July 4, 2010, Coelho signed a four-year contract with the Lisbon Sporting for € 1 million. This transaction included the departure of João Moutinho in the opposite direction. Northerners retained 50% of the rights of a player [1] [2] . August 13, he made his debut for the capital's club in a match against Pasush de Ferreira . International Career
Coelho spent two years in the youth team of Portugal . On August 29, 2010 he received a call to the national team for two qualifying matches of the European Championship 2012 (against Cyprus and Norway ), but did not participate in them.
