Description
Ishore is the third lake in the cascade of Marguzor lakes in the Haftkul valley ( Fan Mountains ). Located eight kilometers from the village of Shing and a kilometer from Lake Soya [3] . Earlier on the west bank was the camp site “Marguzor Lakes” [2] , destroyed by mudflows [3] . From the Tajik language, the name translates as "watchful . " The precautionary name is due to the fact that the vicinity of the lake is full of poisonous snakes [8] . The waters of the lake overflowing through the obstruction feed Soya Lake, which is located lower along the Shing Gorge. The shores of the lake are mainly surrounded by steep slopes with rock fragments, sometimes turning into steep cliffs [7] .
The waters of the lake are used by residents of nearby villages to irrigate the fertile lands of the Gurdara Gorge. Crops grown by farmers are mainly cereals [9] .
In Lake Ishore, like in neighboring Lake Soya, marinkas abound, as evidenced by the movement of large schools of this species. Moving is especially noticeable on the full moon [7] .
Chemical Composition
According to the classification of natural waters according to the allocation of hydrochemical facies of G. A. Maksimovich , Izshor enters the mountainous zone of the hydrocarbonate hydrochemical formation with a predominance of calcium carbonate waters. The scientist’s table shows the following characteristics of lake waters [1] :
| Formation | Facies | Mineralization, mg / L |
|---|---|---|
| Bicarbonate | HCO 3 - Na + + K + —Ca² + |
