Biography

The younger brother of Ivanov’s mother, Alexander Ivanovich Eliseev, was a master of sports in rowing. Mother's sister Tatyana Ivanovna Balabaeva - Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of the Russian Federation. At first he was engaged in badminton , but on the advice of coach Viktor Alekseevich Myslivtsev, he moved to the football section. In 1983, at the age of 16, he made his debut in the team of the second league Spartak Ryazan , and in the second match he scored a goal. In 1983-1986, 1988-1991, 1993-1999 he played 441 matches for Spartak / Torpedo in the second league (1993 - in the first) and scored 31 goals. In 2000-2003, as a playing coach for Ryazan-Agrokomplekt , he scored 6 goals in 106 games.

After the player’s career ended, he worked for a year with his brother in the furniture industry. Since 2005, he headed the Ryazan State District Power Station club for five years. Then he became the head coach of the Eleks-Favorit mini-football club.
