Steve Cook ( born Steve Cooke ; born or , ) - English football coach. He currently holds the position of head coach of the USL Oklahoma City Energy Club.

Biography
Cook was born in Sheffield into a working-class family, his father was a steel worker, and his grandfather was a miner. He played football in his youth, but never played at a professional level [2] .
At the age of 16, Cook began to study the profession of a football coach. Having received a coaching license, he entered Carnegie College for teaching pedagogy. At the age of 22, he was hired as a coach at the Academy of Sheffield Wednesday Club. He moved to the United States in 1996, having received an invitation from a youth team in Phoenix . Since 2007 he has been working as a youth coach in Las Vegas [2] .
Colorado Rapids Cook joined in 2010 as a coach at the academy. In 2012, he entered the headquarters of the head coach Oscar Pareji , combining with the duties of the academy. From 2014, he was the assistant to the head coach Pablo Mastroeni . After Mastroeni’s dismissal on August 15, 2017, Cook temporarily performed the duties of the head coach until the end of the season [3] .
On December 19, 2017, Cook was appointed the head coach and technical director of the USL Oklahoma City Energy affiliated with Colorado Rapids [4] [5] [6] .
