Khatika Zakiraevich Gyaurgiev - an outstanding scientist - linguist, researcher of the Kabardino-Circassian language.

December 20, 1929 in the village of Arik, Tersky district, Hatika Zakiraevich was born. Father Gyaurgiev Zakirai Muridovich, mother of Gyaurgiev Tsykuna Teuvazhevna.

He worked as a teacher, principal of a high school with. Arik of the Tersky district of the KBASSR .

For several years he was the director of the Kabardino-Balkarian Institute for Advanced Studies of Teachers.

From 1972 to 1980, Khatika Zakiraevich headed the team of researchers at the laboratory of the Research Institute of National Schools of the Ministry of Education of the RSFSR.

From 1980 to 1990, he was the director of the Nalchinsky Pedagogical School named after the 50th anniversary of the Komsomol .

Gyaurgiev Kh. Z. - Candidate of Philological Sciences, Honored Teacher of the KBASSR, Excellent Education of the RSFSR, Excellent Education of the USSR, was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor" and the medal of K. D. Ushinsky .

October 26, 2001 he died in the city of Nalchik.
