Levin, Jacob

Jacob Levin ( Eng. Jacob Levin , February 18, 1904 , Dvinsk - June 17, 1992 ) [1] [2] - American chess player of Jewish origin , a national master. A native of the Russian Empire . Member of the US Championships 1942 and 1946. As a reserve participant, he was part of the US team during a radio match with the USSR team (1945). He achieved the greatest sporting success in traditional tournaments in Ventnor (he won tournaments in 1941 and 1945, and twice became a silver medalist).
