History
Author - S. M. Prokudin-Gorsky ; 1909 year.
The construction of the house was started by the Kamyshlovsky merchant Shamarin Anisim Ivanovich. The merchant was engaged in the production and sale of leather products. In 1870-74, he built the first tannery in Kamensk on the left bank of the Iset, opposite the village of Brod . In the same period begins the construction of the estate on Bolshaya Moskovskaya [3] .
Subsequently, the case was transferred to the sons Vasily and Konstantin. They in 1889 in Kamensk established the trading house “A. I. Shamarina sons ”, who was engaged in leather dressing. A subsidiary factory building is being built on the estate. In 1912, Konstantin dies, and his affairs are transferred to his children, Alexander, Paul and Nikolai [3] .
The Shamarins were representatives not only of the merchants, but also of the Kamensk secular society, the entire dynasty was members of the Wole . In the 1870s, one of the first paid libraries in Kamensk was opened at their expense. The wife of Anisim Ivanovich - Alexandra Andreyevna in 1892 was one of the initiators of the opening of an orphanage. The Shamarins invested in improving the working conditions of workers and electrification of factory premises was carried out. The plant's products received awards at Russian fairs and exhibitions, during the First World War it was used for the needs of the army [3] .
After 1917, there is no data on the Shamarins. In 1927, the plant on the banks of Iset was closed, the estate was nationalized and rebuilt [3] .
Architecture
Shamarin's house and leather factory premises are an example of eclecticism and brick lace. Over time, and due to errors during the restoration, many decor elements were lost. Currently, the main house and factory have been preserved from it [3] .
The estate is located in the linear development of the quarter and has a rectangular shape elongated deep into the quarter. Its ensemble included a two-storey residential building with offices and a production workshop of a tannery. The residential building with the northern facade was put on Lenin Street, the factory building is located in the depths of the plot [1] [3] .
The two-story stone main house has an L-shaped configuration and consists of two volumes: the main two-story and one-story with a basement. The main northern facade of the main volume is divided in half horizontally between the inter-floor zone. The upper part is completed by a cornice. The corners of the building are fixed with paneled blades. False-columned house is divided into three sections. The facade rhythmically located 11 window openings on the second floor. The main entrance is located from the northern facade, it is crowned with a radial top, here is also an extension for entering the basement [1] [3] .
The windows of the first floor are distinguished by a platband of a simple form, more complex on the second floor. The western facade is closed by the neighboring building, the windows of the eastern and southern facades are decorated with a brow [1] [3] .
The administrative offices of the factory were located on the first floor of the main house, which had separate staircases to both floors. A two-story industrial building was located in the courtyard of the estate and placed perpendicular to Moskovskaya Street. The building was decorated more modestly: windows with convex platbands with a rounded top, the same arched finials-sandriks, cornices decorated with “crackers” [1] .
