Gorky ( Kaz. Gorky ) is a bitter-salty lake in the Zhambyl district of the North Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is located north of the village of Ostrovka [1] .

According to a topographic survey of the 1940s, the surface area of the lake is 1.36 km². The largest length of the lake is 1.8 km, the largest width is 1 km. The length of the coastline is 4.4 km, the development of the coastline is 1.05. The lake is located at an altitude of 140.2 m above sea level [1] .
The lake is included in the list of fishery reservoirs of local importance [2] .
