Romita ( Spanish: Romita ) is a municipality in Mexico , Guanajuato , with an administrative center in the city of the same name . The population according to the 2010 census was 56,655 people.

Content
General information
The area of the municipality is 441 km², which is 1.44% of the total state area [3] , and the highest point is located in the settlement of Las Lajas and is equal to 2064 meters [1] .
Silao borders on other municipalities in the state of Guanajuato : in the north with Leon , in the northeast with Silao , in the southeast with Irapuato , in the south with Abasolo and Cuéramaro , in the west with Manuel Doblado and San Francisco del Rincon [4 ] .

According to statistics from 2000, the able-bodied population is employed by sectors of the economy in the following proportions: agriculture, livestock and fishing - 42.8%, industry and construction - 24.2%, services and tourism - 30.6%, etc. - 2.4% [3] .

According to 2010 statistics, the infrastructure is developed as follows [3] :
