Doloman [1] ( dolman ) - part of the hussar uniform : short (to the waist) single-breasted jacket [2] with a standing collar and cords , over which a mentic was worn.
The name comes from the Turkish "dolaman" - long clothes with narrow sleeves ( see ill. ) [3] . In the XVII century, Hungarian hussars distributed this kind of clothing in the troops of Europe. Hence another name for the doloman "Hungarian . "
