Ivan Ivanovich Mamaev (born August 25, 1971 ) is a Russian mathematician, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (2005), professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2018). Prize winner S.V. Kovalevskaya (2012).

Beginning
In 1992 he graduated from Udmurt State University ( Udmurt State University ).
In 2000 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (topic "Numerical and analytical methods for studying dynamic systems ") at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov .
In 2005 he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (topic "Qualitative and quantitative analysis of nonholonomic systems ").
Scientific career
- 2001—2010 - Head of the Laboratory of Dynamic Chaos and Nonlinearity of Udmurt State University.
- since 2002 - deputy director, since 2009 - director of the Institute for Computer Research of Udmurt State University.
- Since 2004 - Senior Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (concurrently).
- 2009—2015 - Professor, Department of Computational Mechanics, Faculty of Mathematics, Udmurt State University.
- 2010–2016 - Head of the Nonholonomic Mechanics Sector of the Laboratory for Nonlinear Analysis and Design of New Vehicles created under a grant from the Government of the Russian Federation for state support of scientific research under the guidance of leading scientists in Russian educational institutions of higher professional education.

He is deputy editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal Regular and Chaotic Dynamics, editor-in-chief of the journal Nonlinear Dynamics. Member of the editorial boards of the serial editions “Modern problems of mathematics”, “Modern oil and gas technologies”, “Computing in mathematics, physics, biology”, “Mathematical biology and biophysics”.
Awards and recognition
