Franz Botgorschek ( German: Franz Botgorschek ; May 23, 1812 , Vienna - April 22, 1882 , The Hague ) - Austrian flutist. Brother of singer Carolina Botgorshek .

He studied at the Vienna Conservatory under Ferdinand Bogner , later studied with Alois Hirsch. Since 1830 he played in the orchestra of the Josefstadt Theater , in 1833 he made his debut as a soloist and conducted the first German tour. In the years 1834-1837. in the Kernertner Theater Orchestra , in the troupe of which his sister sang. In the years 1838-1839. He performed in Berlin, in particular with violinist Johann Remmers .
Since 1839 he lived and worked mainly in the Netherlands. He taught at the Hague Conservatory , was a court musician of Willem III . He organized a series of concerts at the Scheveningen Kurhaus, participated in them as a soloist and conductor.
Cavalier of the Order of the Oak Crown (1869) and the Order of the Vase (1871).
