Alexander Evgenievich Zharov (June 14, 1952, Timonino , USSR ) was a Russian political figure, and in 1997–1000 he was the chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma [2] .

Biography
Born on June 14, 1952 in the village of Timonino , USSR .
He graduated from the Faculty of Law in the current Tver State University .
In the period from 1970 to 1978 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR .
From 1985 to 1995 he was the head of the administration. [ clarify ] Solnechnogorsk district . At the moment, Alexander’s son, Artyom, is working in the administration of Solnechnogorsk district as deputy head of the administration of Solnechnogorsk district [3] .
In 2001, he was re-elected deputy to the Moscow Regional Duma until 2005 .
2006 - 2015 - Commissioner for Human Rights in the Moscow Region.
2015 - 2017 - Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Moscow Region [4] [5]
He is married, has two sons.
