Andrea Cola ( Italian: Andrea Cola ; born June 9, 1999 in Rome ) is an Italian race car driver currently playing in the FIA CEZ Formula 3 racing series for the Monolite Racing team [1] . Andrea Cola is also the reigning champion of this series. [2] [3]

Andrea started racing in 2009 when he was 10 years old, and his first competition was karting . Having gained experience in the Italian championship of the Lazio region in the category of engine capacity of 60 cm³ in 2009 and 2010, he took part in the same championship, but in the junior category of 125 cm³ in 2011 and 2012. In the 2012 championship, he took second place. [four]

In June 2016, Andrea made his Formula Abarte debut in the F2 italian Formula Trophy with the Monolite Racing team (in the middle of the championship) on the Misano track, where he won first place in his category in both races. [2]

On April 1, 2017, Andrea made his Formula 3 debut, again launching his F312 Dallara-Mercedes on the Misano track. He was the first in the first race, but got off at the last corner, and in the second race he took third place. [2] Thanks to the good standings [5] in the last two races on the Brno Circuit he won the FIA CEZ Formula 3 Championship 2017. [2] [3] In 2017, he also participated in the championships of the Austrian Formula 3 Cup , Afr Pokale , FIA CEZ Formula 3 Championship . His first victory in Formula 3 was in the second race on the Red Bull Ring , in Spielberg (Austria). Thanks to his good position in both races on the Brno track , he won the FIA CEZ Formula 3 Championship .

In 2018, he again participates in the FIA CEZ Formula 3 Championship . He took first place in his category in the first two races of the season at the Hungaroring on April 28 and 29.
