Biography

In 1982 he graduated with honors from the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University .

From December 1983 - service in the state security bodies of the USSR and Ukraine in operational and management positions.

From December 1998 to April 3, 2005 - Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Ukraine on Religious Affairs.

On April 3, 2005 by the Decree of the President of Ukraine he was appointed Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

On June 18, 2010, President of Ukraine V.F. Yanukovych was dismissed from the post of Chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and appointed as a freelance adviser to the President of Ukraine . [4] [5]

October 11, 2010 dismissed from military service in stock for health reasons with the right to wear military uniforms. [6]

Army and Institute

Nikolai Grigorievich was born in the Zvenigorod district of the Cherkassy region in a peasant family. In the army he served in the GRU special forces brigade, specialization of which was conducting sabotage operations in the rear of the enemy and neutralizing sabotage groups in its own rear. By the end of the service, Malomuzh is promoted to senior sergeant and thanks for completing the task of command. After serving in the army, he was demobilized and entered the law faculty of Kiev University.

Immediately after graduation, Malomuzh receives an offer to work in foreign intelligence agencies and from the mid-eighties begins his career as a career intelligence officer.

Intelligence of the Ukrainian SSR

For a considerable time, Malomuzh specialized in the field of “intelligence from the territories”. In December 1991, Malomuzh managed to hide the file of the intelligence agent of the 1st Division of the KGB of the Ukrainian SSR , obtained as a result of intelligence from the territories, from being taken out by the then-chairman of the republican KGB (the future head of the Russian FSK ) Nikolai Golushko to Moscow .

Security Service of Ukraine

From the beginning of the 1990s, Malomuzh began working in the area of ​​countering international terrorist organizations through intelligence channels.

Yushchenko and the new power

Malomuzh was originally located near people from the “Ostrova” (as Ukraine is referred to as employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The headquarters building is located on an island on the Dnieper River ) under suspicion because it was not part of the Kuchma policy faction.

After the victory of Viktor Yushchenko in the presidential election of 2004, the recent disgraced general becomes a freelance adviser to the President and is subsequently appointed head of the SVR.

In this position of advisor, Malomuzh submits to the president the concept he developed for reforming the FIS of Ukraine, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of its activities.
