Charlotte Uhlenbrook (born January 4, 1968 , London ) is a British zoologist and narrator in documentaries about the nature of the BBC television company.

Biography
Charlotte's father was a Dutchman and served as an expert on agronomy at the UN , and his mother is English. Charlotte was born in London , but her parents took her to Ghana when she was ten days old. From 5 to 14 years old, she lived in Kathmandu , in Nepal , after which she returned to England.
Charlotte Uhlenbrook in 1988 received a bachelor 's degree in zoology and psychology, and 1997 - a doctorate in philosophy in zoology at the University of Bristol . She spent six months in Burundi helping Jane Goodall on a project to conserve wild chimpanzee populations. For another four years, she studied ways of communicating with wild chimpanzees in the forests of Gombi National Park , in Tanzania (also as part of the Gooddoll project).
She first appeared on television when the series “Dawn to Dusk” showed material with her participation about chimpanzees living in the vicinity of Tanganyika . Soon after, she was invited to host The Chimpanzee Diaries on BBC2 (1998-1999).
Charlotte's first big film was the three-part film " Close Relatives " ( 2000 ), which tells about primates . In 2001, she introduced Congo's Secret Chimps, and in 2002 , a large series about animal communication, Talking with Animals.
