Karimabad ( Persian کریمآباد ) is a village in the north of Iran , in the Alborz island . It is part of the shahrestan Nazarabad . It is part of Dehestan (rural district) Tankeman bakhsha Tankeman.

Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of Alborsa, south of the Elburz Mountains, approximately 23 kilometers west of Keredzh , the provincial capital. The absolute height is 1276 meters above sea level [1] .
Population
According to the 2006 census, the population of the village was 262 people (119 men and 143 women). In Kerimabad, there were 70 households. The literacy rate of the population was 76.72%. The literacy rate among men was 84.03%, among women - 70.63% [2] .
