Biography
Russell Anthony Hodgkinson was born on August 14, 1959 at Homestead airbase in Florida, USA. He spent his childhood in St. Petersburg . For a long time he worked in the US Coast Guard. In his free time, he played in the Fort Bragg Theater.
He first appeared on the silver screen in 1990, starring in the television movie "The Jackie Robinson Tribunal", but was not listed in the credits. Then starred in a variety of episodic roles, and also played in the productions of several theaters [1] [2] [3] [4] . Three times (in 1999, 2000 and 2001) he received the Big Easy Entertainment Awards in the category “Best Supporting Actor in a Musical” [5] [6] . In 2009, he was nominated for the “Footlight Awards” award in the “Best Performance” category [7] .
Since 2014, plays in the main part of the television series " Nation Z " [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] .
Personal life
On June 8, 1990, he married Shelly Ponsi. Russell has two daughters - Crystal Starr Buxton (born 7/7/1977) and Carly Dee Hancock.
