Biography
Born on March 25, 1922 in the village of Kylychbek, Ganja district of the Azerbaijan SSR (now the village of Gylyndzhebeyli of the Shamkir region).
Since 1943 - collective farmer, foreman, since 1978 - chairman of the trade union organization of the collective farm named after Lenin of the Shamkhor region. He excelled at completing the seven-year cotton picking plan.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR of April 30, 1966 , for the successes achieved in increasing the production and harvesting of raw cotton, Rustamov Khalil Gambar oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1960 . Member of the Supreme Council of the Azerbaijan SSR of the 7th convocation.
