Vara ( Ukrainian Vara ) - right tributary Sudost , flowing through Novgorod-Seversky ( Chernihiv region , Ukraine ) and Pogarsky areas ( Bryansk region , Ukraine ).

Geography
Length - in the Chernihiv region 15 [1] km. The catchment area is km². The river bed (water level marks) in the middle course (village Gudovka) is located at an altitude of 142.4 m above sea level.
The channel is winding, in the middle course (the village of Kister) with a width of 6 m and a depth of 0.4 m (in the upper, respectively, 8 and 2, the village of Buchki).
The river originates in the swamp massif southeast of the village of Inner Bor ( Novgorod-Seversky district ). The river flows mainly to the north, several times changing the angle to the north-west and north-east, in the mouth area - south-east. It falls in Sudost directly north of the village of Lukin ( Pogarsky district ).
The floodplain is occupied by wetlands with meadows and the addition of forests. On the right bank there is a forest reserve of local importance Gremyachsky .
